The Japan Import and Export Association receives hundreds of inquiries annually from various export and import companies. As the global landscape continues to change in diverse and unpredictable ways based on regional characteristics, we are committed to staying one step ahead by gathering information and establishing local connections. We assist in facilitating direct export and import transactions without the involvement of intermediaries. Activities

The corporation aims to promote exports and imports between Japan and countries around the world and will engage in the following activities to achieve this goal.

  1. Providing advice, guidance, and promotion for export and import businesses between Japan and other countries.

  2. Supporting the expansion of trade to third countries through alliances of exporters and importers from Japan and other nations.

  3. Assisting in the implementation of trade policies and regulations enforced by the Japanese government.

  4. Conducting research and studies on overseas markets and supporting market expansion efforts.

  5. Organizing and hosting trade development events such as trade conferences, trade fairs, and business matchmaking meetings.

  6. Hosting practical training sessions on export and import operations.

  7. Offering advice and guidance on trade practices and mediating disputes among industry peers.

  8. Accepting consultations on government-commissioned export and import tasks and related matters.

  9. Supporting the promotion of economic and trade activities by traders and initiating public welfare projects to enhance the well-being of industry peers.

  10. Planning and engaging in social service activities.

  11. Selling representative products from various regions both domestically and internationally.

  12. Facilitating the export and import of materials, machinery, equipment, and goods required by different regions.

  13. Supporting the above activities under favorable conditions to foster development, ensuring strict collaboration, and providing a competitive advantage in the international market.

  14. Undertaking other activities incidental or related to the aforementioned projects.
